A very simple mod that adds alternative canning recipes that remove sugar/vinegar as an ingredient.
These two ingredients are completely unnecessary for home canning, and are actually used for pickling, not canning.
This version of the mod still consumes jar lids. It's recommended to use it alongside another mod that increases lid spawns such as this one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1557287920
Alongside the vanilla "Make jar of..." recipes, you will now see "Can jar of...", which is my modded version. Both recipes will create the vanilla "Jar of....", which must be cooked in a heat source to preserve it's freshness.
