This mod adds a realistic vehicle dashboard for Project Zomboid B41/B42/MP. TESTED TO WORK WITH B42.20 STABLE. SAFE FOR EXISTING SAVES.

Tip: Smoother Needle Animation

In Options -> Display, increase UI Render FPS for smoother needle movement. A value of 60 FPS is recommended.

• Interactive dashboard controls for radio, A/C, locks, windows, and emergency-light functions on supported vehicles.
• Dashboard support for both the driver and front-row passenger, including dedicated Sport and Heavy-Duty designs.
• Front-row shortcuts for changing seats and sleeping inside the vehicle.
• Support for 0.75x, 1x, 1.4x, and 2x UI scales.
• Physics-based gauge needle movement, gauge backlighting, and dynamic warning lights with startup bulb checks.
• Dynamic stain and crack effects based on driver-seat and windshield condition, plus cranking-voltage sag based on battery charge.
• Distinct radio UIs for ValueTech and Premium Technologies radios.

Version / Multiplayer Compatibility

Tested in Project Zomboid B41 single-player, B42 single-player, and B42 multiplayer. Safe to add to existing saves. No new save is required.

Mod Compatibility

This mod follows vanilla game behavior and does not rely on custom save-data writes. It should be compatible with most mods that do not modify the dashboard UI and also follow vanilla behavior.

Tested compatible mods include, but are not limited to:

• TV and Radio Reinvented
• True Music
• Project Summer Cars. Please load Project Summer Cars before this mod. Its thermometer and warning lights may still be covered; this may be addressed in a future update.
• KI5 vehicle mods

How to Use

No additional setup is required. Once enabled, the mod automatically replaces the vanilla dashboard UI.

For B42 users with 4K / 2160p displays, go to OPTIONS -> MODS and select the 2x size texture.

Hi everyone! I am the creator of this mod. I am from Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, and currently studying in the United States.

Cars have always been my biggest passion, especially the small details of vehicle design. Beyond dashboards and gauges, I am also fascinated by hybrid powertrain architectures and control logic.

This is my first game mod, bugs and compatibility issues are possible. I will continue maintaining and improving it, and I truly welcome your feedback.
