ZR-1, a nuclear-powered submarine outfitted for virus research, is moored at the Brandenburg military base. The crew took what precautions they could, but in the end, the Knox virus claimed every last one of them.
ABOARD ZR-1
- A new cargo dock at Brandenburg. Follow the road through the military base. Where it once came to a dead end, you’ll now find a cargo dock with ZR-1 moored alongside it.
- Two decks below the waterline. Search the crew quarters or the crew themselves for a key to the restricted areas.
- Unlimited power and fresh water. As long as the reactor is intact, the lights stay on and the taps keep running, even after the grid goes down.
- Cramped living quarters. Propulsion and life-support equipment take up most of the hull. The crew had to make do with the space left over. Now it’s your turn.
A WORD ABOUT THE REACTOR
The boat is yours now. Move the furniture, refit the cabins, make yourself at home. Just follow one rule: don’t break the reactor. Taking a sledgehammer to the heart of a nuclear submarine will end about as well as you’d expect.
