Vanilla Foods Expanded

The world may have ended, but we're still having cake. It's Vanilla Foods first birthday, and we're celebrating with cake! Add birthday candles to any cake or cake slice, light them up, sing your song, make a wish then blow them out! Lit cakes, slices and individual birthday candles can all be carried around or placed in the world to light up your surroundings.

We've also made every cake frostable, with 70 cake-and-frosting combinations to choose from. Each has its own unique model, from strawberry-frosted chocolate cake to vanilla-frosted caramel cake. And all flavors of cake are now evolved recipes, allowing you to customise them as much as you like.

Throw a birthday party for your multiplayer friends, sing to yourself over a lonely slice in solo, or help us celebrate our first year of Vanilla Foods. Take some birthday photos and share them on Discord! We'd love to bring your celebrations together in a collage. [hr][/hr] Vanilla Foods Expanded adds over 2800 new foods, recipes and evolved recipes that are similar in style and use to base game. You can find:

• Canned foods, such as meats, vegetables, fruits, soup, stew and bait
• Jars and new canning recipes
• Herbs, spices and seasonings
• Sauces, relishes and dressings
• Pantry staples, snacks, candy, chocolate and breakfast foods
• Baking with plenty of bread, dough and desserts
• Fresh fruit and vegetables
• Fresh meat and seafood
• Fridge and freezer foods
• Cheese making and dairy
• Fermenting - beer, wine, yeast, vinegar and sourdough
• Beverages
• Hundreds of new recipes and evolved recipes

Vanilla spawn rates remain the same, there won’t be an overwhelming amount of food in the world, just a lot more variety. 3D models have been created for every item.

• Nearly everything, within reason, can be made from-scratch with renewable ingredients, giving your survivor a lifetime supply of ways to cook

• Find recipe books scattered throughout your world that unlock new cooking possibilities, letting you create authentic, home cooked meals
• Pour it into a bowl, or make it into a plate, store your leftovers in a container - a lot of recipes can be dished up into individual servings
• Baking! Start with convenient box mixes for a quick and tasty treat, then progress to learning recipes that allow you to bake everything from scratch
• 170 new evolved recipes, including casseroles, curry, lasagna, loaded baked potatoes, nachos, chili, ramen, milkshakes, fried rice and dozens more
• Season your creations with an extensive collection of herbs, spices and seasoning blends, to perfect every dish

Can be added to an existing save, just be mindful that areas already explored won't have the new loot. As far as we've tested, it can be safely removed from a save, just be mindful you will lose all Vanilla Foods Expanded loot.
