Area Of Operations: Steel Division

Every Steel Division faction, fighting in Area Of Operations. This add-on puts all 12 Steel Division factions on all 23 Area Of Operations maps, plus Tarn Valley in summer and fall: 25 layers.

What is Area Of Operations?

One random Area of Operations is picked each round, and both teams fight over it.

• Each team holds a single FOB that earns tickets.
• Squad leaders place Patrol Base tents for forward spawns.
• Enemy positions show up on the map as search areas over time.
• Win by draining the enemy's tickets or leading when the time runs out.

What the Steel Division layers add

• All 12 Steel Division factions on every layer: ETF, IRGC, ISSF, PLASF, PMC, RED, SAS, SEAL, SOF, SSPR, TSF and USSF.
• Steel Division's own soldier, night vision, thermals, HUD and commander abilities.
• Faction setups sized to each map: small-map setups on Sumari and Logar, medium-map setups on Chora, Fool's Road, Kokan and Mestia, and large-map setups with unit types (Mechanized, Armored, Motorized, Light Infantry, Support, Air Assault) everywhere else.
• The same AO areas, mains, spawns and vehicles as the normal Area Of Operations layers.
• Default match-up: USSF vs PLASF. Any of the 12 factions can be picked.

Subscribe to all three. Steam will ask you when you subscribe to this mod.

• Steel Division: the factions, vehicles and gear. It is a large download (about 16 GB).
• Area Of Operations: the game mode.
• Tarn Valley: the map for the two Tarn Valley layers.

Area Of Operations server settings (CustomOptions.cfg) work the same on these layers. The server needs all three required mods installed, and Linux servers are supported.
