Inscribe

Find equipment with rarity and inscriptions, then reshape its stats with runes and socketed gems. Creatures, bosses and world chests supply magic gear and runes; the Rune Table provides a place to work on your equipment.

Features

• Equipment can roll rarity and extra-stat inscriptions; bosses and raids remain sources of Legendary gear for classes with a full inscription pool.
• Use Ascension to raise rarity, Recasting to reroll and Honing to raise one inscription tier; Cleansing and Sealed runes require Shift confirmation by default.
• Build a Rune Table to store and apply runes and turn trophies into essence; essence guides what Ascension adds.
• Focus Rune Table recasting on Offense, Defense or Utility for one prefix or suffix; an impossible focused result consumes no rune.
• Use a Dvergr Chisel for up to three sockets and eleven gem types on eligible weapons, pickaxes, staves, armor, shields and backpacks.
• Legacy enhancement levels convert into eligible Honing steps and leftover Honing Runes; old scrolls convert into Honing Runes and Essence when encountered.
• Read rarity, etched tier marks, native quality and socket markers separately; worn inventory and hotbar items have a thin parchment ring.
• Magic ground drops show rarity glow and a loot beam; Legendary drops add a bronze and ivory glint while keeping native item models.
• Scroll oversized item tooltips with the mouse wheel or right stick to read their full details.
• With ItemEnhancements installed, legacy enhancement conversion is deferred to it; EliteCrafting disables overlapping features, and both together disable Inscribe.

Install and settings

Install with a Valheim mod manager to resolve dependencies automatically. Settings: F8 or Esc > Meadworks. Config: BepInEx/config/com.meadworks.inscribe.cfg. Version 0.2.13. Required on the server and every client; use matching versions. Dependencies: BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360, Jotunn 2.30.2, Crucible 0.3.39. Server settings and YAML rules apply. Item Commands starts off and requires server permission; socket exclusions include other tools, rods and torches.
