Larder
Tune food and mead, eating, recovery and stamina use, then adjust how your kitchen cooks and ferments. Separate settings cover combat effort, safe-area stamina and Cooking skill perks.
Features
- Adjust food values, duration and how their effects fade, plus mead values and the point at which food can be eaten again.
- Configure the number of food slots and opt into automatic eating; with Mantle, auto eat prefers its dedicated Food slots.
- Set health, stamina and eitr regeneration rates and delays, rested bonuses and recovery while blocking, swimming or encumbered.
- Change stamina costs for movement, attacks, tools, blocking and fishing, with separate out-of-combat costs and base health/stamina settings.
- Optional Safe Stamina removes selected action costs when no enemy is within 25 m; it starts off and supports an ignored-creature list.
- Safe Area Encumbered separately enables free encumbered walking and recovery while safe; it is also off by default.
- Tune cooking times, burn delays, fermenting and feasts separately from food values and stamina rules.
- Cooking levels increase cooking and fermenting speed, extend the time before food burns, and improve the chances of extra food or an ingredient refund.
- Optional Fermenter Timer shows remaining time while hovering an accessible, sheltered fermenter that is still fermenting; it starts off.
- Preview and import FeastMaster and GrindstoneSkills Cooking settings after a backup; source files remain unchanged.
Install and settings
Install with a Valheim mod manager to resolve dependencies automatically. Settings: F8 or Esc > Meadworks. Config: BepInEx/config/com.meadworks.larder.cfg. Version 0.2.24. Required on the server and every client; use matching versions. Dependencies: BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360, Jotunn 2.30.2, Crucible 0.3.39. Server gameplay rules apply; Fermenter Timer is personal. Instant Kitchen, Endless Food and Eat Anything start off and require server permission.
