About Magpie
From ThunderstoreMeadworks loot handling: magnet pickup, ground-stack merging, floating drops and a server-controlled loot multiplier cheat. Required on all peers.
Magpie
Nearby drops glide toward you, settled ground stacks merge and items float on water or tar. Control pickup distance and presentation separately, with an optional server-controlled multiplier for eligible world loot.
Features
- Automatically pick up nearby items with a default 3.5 m range; adjust magnet speed and distance within the server's maximum range.
- Exclude named items from pickup and optionally group pickup messages by item kind or suppress pickup sounds and particles.
- Bind a separate pickup toggle key or gamepad chord if wanted; both start unbound alongside the game's own auto-pickup control.
- Merge identical nearby ground items after they settle; dedicated servers keep drops owned by different players' games separate.
- Keep dropped items afloat on water and tar, with an exclusion list for items that should sink.
- Optional Loot Multiplier starts at 1 and requires server permission; it applies to eligible creature, resource and other world drops.
- Player drops, chest or tombstone spills, refunds and station output are excluded from the loot multiplier.
- Step aside module by module for SwiftPickup and FloatingItems; preview-import their settings after a backup without changing source files.
- With Wildblood multiplying creature drops, skip that multiplication in Magpie; with Inscribe, eligible stackable creature runes multiply once and gear does not.
