About Mantle
From ThunderstoreMeadworks inventory and equipment: configurable grid, gear, ring and belt slots, backpacks, key ring, tacklebox and a Swap loadout button. Required on all peers (same version).
Mantle
Expand and arrange your inventory with dedicated gear and consumable slots, wearable backpacks, rings and belts. Keep useful items in their own slots while configuring carry capacity, death retention and personal display choices.
Features
- Set the main grid's width, rows and base carry weight; Trader Rows is off by default and adds purchased rows only when enabled.
- Use dedicated equipment, utility, trinket, ring, belt, backpack, Food, Mead, Ammo and coin slots; new configs start with three Utility slots.
- Reduce slot counts only when displaced items fit in free inventory cells; otherwise the change waits for you to make room.
- Craft biome-based backpacks that add inventory rows and carry weight; the Moosehide Pack lets its contents pass through portals.
- Upgrade backpacks through four qualities, reducing movement penalties and the weight of items in added cells; worn upgrades keep their contents.
- Craft six rings and three belts with bonuses such as stamina, health or carry weight; two identical rings apply both bonuses.
- Wear Megingjord in the Belt slot for its native +150 carry weight, leaving Utility slots available.
- Store discovered keys on the key ring and bait in craftable tackleboxes; doors find the keys and fishing rods use tacklebox bait first.
- Press Z to eat ready food from Food slots; Left Alt+1 through 5 drinks from the corresponding Mead slot when that slot exists.
- Choose which dedicated slot groups remain with you on death, and customize slot labels, icons, backpack visibility and the stat sheet.
Install and settings
Install with a Valheim mod manager to resolve dependencies automatically. Settings: F8 or Esc > Meadworks. Config: BepInEx/config/com.meadworks.mantle.cfg. Version 0.1.41. Required on the server and every client; exactly matching Mantle versions. Dependencies: BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360, Jotunn 2.30.2, Crucible 0.3.39. Server grid, slot and item rules apply; display and key preferences stay personal. Mantle does not load alongside PackPanel.
