Wildblood

Creature difficulty grows with your world through stars, mutations and local hunting pressure. Boss aspects, loot rules and rare-drop protection change what each fight can yield.

Features

• Roll creatures up to eight stars; first kills of listed bosses raise the world tier and improve star and mutation odds.
• Creatures can carry a signature mutation and two modifiers, shown by colored stars and their names; thieving and devouring creatures show what they hold.
• Taming preserves stars and stored traits. Wildblood governs newborn star inheritance, including Shepherd births, and can restore stored stars on older parked tames.
• Bosses gain stars and altar-selected aspects; a damage board compares player contributions after a kill and hints point toward the next location.
• Tune extra loot rolls or drop quantities per star, with character-and-world rare-drop protection credited to the killer.
• Killing wild creatures raises local Karma, making new spawns stronger and potentially calling an Enforcer with minions; Karma fades and player deaths lower it.
• Crouch and look at creatures to inspect resistances and weaknesses; Compendium lore lists mutations, modifiers and boss aspects.
• Replay the seconds before recent deaths from the Meadworks menu, and view local Karma on the minimap.
• With Solstice seasons enabled, meat, hides and felled wood drop less in spring/summer and more in fall/winter; fractional rates can yield nothing.
• Optional Tamed Pressure is off by default and can kill tames: bosses pressure up to four nearby tames within 32 m, scheduling 1% max-health damage each second and weakening their combat.

Install and settings

Install with a Valheim mod manager to resolve dependencies automatically. Settings: F8 or Esc > Meadworks; BepInEx/config/. Host/server gameplay rules apply in multiplayer. Version 0.5.14. Required on the server and every client; use matching versions. Keep matching character, world and recovery files together when restoring backups. Dependencies: BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2360, Jotunn 2.30.2, Crucible 0.3.39.
