PlanBuild Mac

PlanBuild by MarcoPogo and sirskunkalot, set up for Valheim on Mac. Installing this package with a mod manager also installs PlanBuild and Jotunn.

PlanBuild itself runs on Mac. This small add-on fixes the two things that go wrong there:

• Blueprints go missing. PlanBuild saves and looks for blueprints in a folder relative to where the game runs. On Mac that is inside the Valheim app, so blueprints you download are never found and the ones you save can be removed by a Steam update. This add-on points PlanBuild at Documents › Valheim Blueprints and copies any blueprints it already saved inside the app into it.
• The Blueprint Rune draws wrong. Its materials only ship with DirectX shader code. They are moved onto the game's own Standard shader, which works on Metal.

On Windows and Linux it does nothing.

Using blueprints from other players

Download a .blueprint or .vbuild file, put it in Documents › Valheim Blueprints, and start the game (or press Refresh in the Blueprint Marketplace, End key). Pick it from the Blueprint Rune's Blueprints tab.

Settings

BepInEx/config/PlanBuild-Mac.cfg has one setting, Blueprint folder. Keep it outside the BepInEx folder: PlanBuild can't open blueprints it finds under BepInEx when the folder is a full path. If you already set PlanBuild's own folders to full paths, this add-on leaves them alone.

Manual install

Install BepInExPack Valheim, Jotunn and PlanBuild, then put PlanBuild-Mac.dll in BepInEx/plugins. Jotunn's zip uses Windows-style paths, which the Mac Archive Utility turns into broken file names, so install it with a mod manager.

Works alongside Monstrum Mac.
