Overview
This mod connects all naturally generated vanilla cave systems into a continuous underground network, linked together by narrow, labyrinth-like tunnels.
The goal is to transform isolated cave generation into a more cohesive and exploratory underground experience, encouraging deeper traversal and discovery.
Originally designed as a complementary expansion to my other mod, “Cave-only Ore Spawn”, this mod is fully standalone and can be enjoyed independently by any player looking to enhance vanilla cave exploration.
By restructuring cave connectivity, the mod also indirectly improves the discoverability of underground structures. Ruins become easier to encounter during exploration, and the likelihood of finding translocators is increased, as they often generate along these newly formed tunnel pathways.
If you hit a dead end while moving through a narrow tunnel, there is a 99% chance that breaking 1–2 blocks forward will reveal ruins with loot, allowing you to continue deeper through the tunnel system.
