Chisel it Everywhere

MBy Majke

Carve chisel decoration onto any block — even the ones the game normally forbids

Chisel it Everywhere

Description

Features

  • Chisel on ANY block. Shafts, angled gears, pipes, machines, funny-shaped blocks — if vanilla says “no”, this says “sure”. The host block is never replaced, so it keeps 100% of its function.
  • Solid collision. Your carved decoration is real: stand on it, walk over it, build a ledge you can actually use. The host block’s own collision is preserved on top of it.
  • Copy & paste shapes. Copy any chiseled block (or an existing overlay) and stamp it onto a new target.
  • Carve in place. Add and remove voxels right where they sit, exactly like the vanilla chisel — snapping to the same size grid, with a live highlight of what you’re about to cut.
  • Native size menu. Press the tool-mode key (default F) on an overlay to pick your chisel size (1 / 2 / 4 / 8), just like a real chiseled block.
  • Singleplayer & multiplayer. Overlays are stored with the world and synced to every player.

How it works

The mod is has a dedicated tool so it never gets in the way of normal chiseling. Everything is gated on holding an enabled [CE] chisel:

  • Hold a plain chisel → the mod stays completely out of the way, vanilla chiseling is untouched.
  • Hold an enabled [CE] chisel → the “chisel everywhere” gestures come alive.

Crafting the [CE] chisel

Place a chisel above a hammer in the crafting grid. Your chisel just gains a [CE] name prefix. Crafting it the same way again changes it back to a vanilla chisel, so you can switch any time.

Notes

  • The carved shape is decorative: it never changes, powers, or blocks the host block’s own behaviour.
