Chop

Chop is a simple mod that lets you split firewood into sticks using an axe and a chopping block.

Place firewood on the chopping block, hold right-click while holding an axe, and turn it into sticks through a satisfying chopping system inspired by real-life wood splitting.

All types of wood logs can also be chopped on the chopping block.

Custom Settings:

• You can edit the config file at "VintagestoryData\ModConfig\chop.json" to change firewood/stick output amounts and the chopping block sound range.

 

 

Additional Information:
• Firewood splits into 4 sticks
• Aged firewood splits into 2 sticks
• Wooden logs split into 4 firewood
• Each split consumes 1 axe durability
• Firewood and wood log can be picked up from the chopping block with an empty hand
• Adds 2 custom wood chopping sound effects
• Includes a simple splitting particle effect
