Quench In Barrels

Synopsis

Are you tired of running to the next lake with your tongs or try to make a full block of water somehow look nice in your smithy?

Did you expect a barrel full of water to be able to cool down a hot piece of metal somehow?

Then you have come to the right mod! 😁

Put any item into the inventory slot of a barrel filled with liquid and watch it cool and sizzle like in bodies of water.

 

Details and Compatibility

Should work with all items that are hot for whatever reason. Should work with vanilla barrels and woodbarrels.

v.0.5.3: Compatibility with the UsefulStuff quenching system. Actually no real dependency on the other mod exists, if you have a UsefulStuffConfig.json then quenched will be applied like configured in there.
Note: Quenching in a barrel will also apply to everything that is hot and gets cooled, so chisels and third-mod-tools will profit too. Second Note: For the quenched buff to do anything you still need UsefulStuff active.
