Distant Vistas

Use 0.79.0. Play-only. Far LOD from land you have already walked. Official 1.0 builds stay retracted until far land and seasons are actually right.

 

Must have mods to get the entire experience:

Farseerer 1.4.0

No login overlay on this build. Overlay stays off until seasons are dialed in. No hop-scan, no client teleports, no creative flight, no /gamemode. No visit bake on new chunks. Same as a vanilla public server.

What it has

• Persistent 3D far land from chunks your client already loaded
• Walk-capture only — no join overlay wait
• No visit bake on newly streamed chunks
• Pressure/hitch work from the 0.7.7x line

Drop distantvistas_0.79.0.zip in Mods. Do not extract. Fully quit Vintage Story, then start it again. Leaving to the menu does not load a new zip.

Client MeshRef Leak Fix is now built inside DV. No need to download it seperately. Though if you have it installed i made it to where it does not conflict.
