Floral Zones 1.22 Bridge — Standalone

Floral Zones 1.22 Bridge is a standalone compatibility addon that adapts a collection of Floral Zones (by Tentharchitect, Flish) regional modules for Vintage Story 1.22.5.

Its main purpose is to preserve Floral Zones plants, materials and decorative content while adapting older content to the systems introduced in Vintage Story 1.22.

This is the Standalone edition. All required bridge fixes are included in the mod itself, so no separate Floral Zones 1.22 compatibility patch is required.

Updated Fruiting Plants

Legacy berry bushes and fruit-producing plants from Floral Zones have been adapted to the modern Fruiting Bush system used by Vintage Story 1.22.

Supported mechanics include:

• wild and cultivated plants;
• plant cuttings;
• growth stages;
• flowering;
• fruit ripening;
• harvesting;
• snow-covered states;
• temperature-based growth and dormancy.

The bridge covers numerous Floral Zones plants, including grapes, cloudberries, vanilla, wolfberries, capers, pitahaya, juniper and many other regional species.

Basket Traps

The mod provides functional basket traps made from several Floral Zones materials:

• palm materials;
• Triodia scariosa;
• Bolboschoenus maritimus;
• coconut husk;
• New Zealand flax.

Their behaviour, animations and geometry are based directly on the vanilla basket trap from Vintage Story 1.22.5.

The vanilla trap geometry and mechanics are retained while the corresponding Floral Zones materials, textures, drops and target baskets are used.

Floral Zones Wood Cabinets

The bridge adds 1.22-compatible cabinets and cabinet doors using wood types introduced by Floral Zones.

• bottom cabinet sections;
• middle sections;
• top sections;
• combined sections;
• solid cabinet doors;
• glass-front cabinet doors.

Crafting recipes using the appropriate regional wood types are also included.

Additional Compatibility Fixes

The addon updates several legacy definitions and fixes compatibility issues affecting:

• fruit and berry blocks;
• plant drops;
• fences;
• fence gates;
• basket traps;
• other legacy Floral Zones mechanics.
