Fauna of the Stone Age: Taming

Adds PetAI taming to supported Fauna of the Stone Age animals. Tame them, give them commands, and keep their growth and family life working after they join you.

What taming adds

Supported animals become owned PetAI pets with follow, stay, and other normal pet commands. Dedicated tame variants keep ownership through growth and breeding while leaving the source mod’s wild animals and spawning alone. Foods and trough support follow the supported animal’s diet.

Aquatic pets are supported, but their movement can still be awkward. The latest lifecycle fix keeps supported tamed animals on their tame behavior after taming and reload.

Settings

In ModConfig/TamablesFotsa.json, TamingStage defaults to Baby. Set it to Adult to start taming adults instead of babies. Babies already being tamed, or already owned, keep their progress when they grow up.
