Floral Zones × Expanded Foods Compatibility is an integration addon connecting food and flour from Floral Zones with the cooking systems of Expanded Foods and A Culinary Artillery for Vintage Story 1.22.5.

Its main goal is to make regional Floral Zones ingredients a natural part of the expanded cooking ecosystem.

Version 1.2.1 Full Flour Kitchen + No-Crash brings all supported Floral Zones flours into the full Expanded Foods / A Culinary Artillery kitchen workflow while retaining the tested Mixing Bowl crash protection.

Full Flour Integration

All six supported Floral Zones flour types are integrated into Expanded Foods and A Culinary Artillery recipes instead of remaining isolated ingredients.

Bread Dough

Each of the six flours receives four canonical bread dough recipes:

• flour + liquid;
• flour + liquid + starter;
• flour + liquid + oil or lard;
• flour + liquid + oil or lard + starter.

This adds 24 canonical bread-dough recipes in total.

Hardtack

Every supported flour can also be used for two hardtack dough variants:

• with egg;
• egg-free.

This adds 12 hardtack dough recipes, together with dedicated hardtack variants, names and textures.

Expanded Foods Recipe Support

Floral Zones flour can be used in direct Expanded Foods recipes wherever rye flour is normally accepted.

This includes:

• breaded balls;
• fish;
• meat;
• mushrooms;
• vegetables;
• stuffed peppers;
• other related flour-based recipes.

Existing compatibility for standard Expanded Foods dough, bread starter, pasta, berry dough, muffins and related recipes is also retained.

Proper Kitchen Workflow

Original Floral Zones recipes allowed some regional doughs to be created simply by combining flour and water in the crafting grid.

In this release, 12 flour + water crafting-grid shortcuts are disabled.

Regional bread dough is now prepared through the actual A Culinary Artillery Mixing Bowl system.

Ceramic and Powered Mixing Bowls

The new recipes work with both ACA mixing systems.

Ceramic Mixing Bowl:

• all 10 color variants are supported;
• used for manual mixing.

Powered Mixing Bowl:

• 10 colors × 5 materials;
• 50 variants in total;
• supports automated mixing.

Both bowl types use the same kneading recipe registry, so recipes added by this addon are available through both manual and powered mixing.

No-Crash Guard

Version 1.2.1 retains the tested ACA Mixing Bowl no-crash fix from version 1.1.1.

The guard prevents a known crash related to Vintage Story 1.22.5's base GUI distance range check.

The protection applies to both ceramic and powered Mixing Bowls.

Important: because of this workaround, the Mixing Bowl interface does not automatically close when the player walks too far away. Close the window manually.

• 0 JSON errors;
• 0 missing required files;
• 387 patch operations;
• 12 disabled flour + water crafting shortcuts;
• the No-Crash source is byte-identical to the tested 1.1.1 version;
• all Full Flour Kitchen patches from 1.2.0 are retained.

The mod is required on both the client and the server.

When updating, remove older fzexpandedfoodscompat archives, keep only the current version and fully restart the game.
