Handsome Tweaks

Various small QoL tweaks and changes. Mod is developed primarily for the needs of our private server.

Features

Tweaked vanilla features:

• <span style="color: #2880b9;">[Universal]</span> Firepit tweaks:
  • Allow right-clicking a crucible to firepit in-world, similarly to how a cooking pot behaves.
  • Automatically swap cooking pot back to firepit input slot once emptied.
  • The in-world interaction help text shows that you can insert pots and pans by right-clicking.
• <span style="color: #2880b9;">[Universal] </span>Resonator accepts mechanical power to keep music looping.
• <span style="color: #27ae60;">[Client] </span>Handbook history persists when Handbook is closed. When opening the handbook, it opens the same page you had open the last time you closed it.

Mod also has optional compatibility with a few mods, and additional tweaks are automatically enabled if those are installed.

If A Culinary Artillery is installed:

• <span style="color: #2880b9;">[Universal]</span> Allow right-clicking a saucepan to firepit in-world, similarly to how a cooking pot behaves.

If XLib is installed:

• <span style="color: #27ae60;">[Client]</span>&nbsp;On-screen notification on level up (automatically disabled if xSkills Gilded is installed)

If Combat Overhaul: Armory is installed:

• <span style="color: #8e44ad;">[Server]</span> Allow placing shields to Vertical racks

Configuration

Most of the tweaks can be toggled on/off from the config file (located in ModConfig/jakojaannos/handsometweaks.json). The settings are currently not synchronized between the client and the server. Joining clients may need to manually update the configuration, if changed on the server.

• If any <span style="color: #2880b9;">[Universal]</span> tweaks are enabled on the server, those MUST be enabled on the clients when joining. These are loaded both on server and the clients.
• Tweaks marked as <span style="color: #27ae60;">[Client]</span> don't matter on the server, they are purely client-side. Clients can enable/disable these as they wish. Client tweaks are not loaded on the server, regardless of the settings.
• <span style="color: #8e44ad;">[Server]</span> tweaks are not loaded on the clients, at all. Clients' settings have no effect.

Known issues

• The resonator looping may stop working when a background music track starts playing. For the time being, eject and re-insert the tuning cylinder to restart the music if it stops, as a workaround.
