What does this mod do?

This mod adds three forageable leafy plants and their associated foods.

Wintercress can be found in cooler climates, but not in open areas.

Lamb's Lettuce is found everywhere with a temperate climate and enough rainfall to support it. It prefers the shade provided by trees.

Kangkong,or Morning Glory, is a water spinach found in hot, humid environments. It is the only cookable vegetable of the three; the other two can only be eaten raw.

You can also craft decorative versions of all three of these plants.

Why version 0.5?

Because I haven't added meal compatibility with Expanded Foods, and there's a bug where cooked kangkong does not show up in meals.

Details

This mod is safe to add to existing worlds, but you will not find the plants until you explore new chunks. Each plant has a 3% chance per chunk of generating in groups if the location has a suitable temperature, tree cover, and climate.

You need to harvest when the plant is flowering if you want edible leaves! When the plant is ripe (old), you will only get young plants for propagation. If you're desperate, you can break ripe plants to get fewer young plants but some edible leaves.

This mod is compatible with world gen mods, including Biomes.
