Description
Paper can be made from a lot of different pulps in real life, I used to play around with making paper as a kid! So I wanted to have more options for making parchment in game.

<span style="color: #18a085;">Current implementation:</span>
Cattails can now be used to make plant pulp, process the pulp to make parchment; or make cattail strips like papyrus.
Papyrus strips can be processed to make parchment.
- Soak 20 Cattails in a barrel of water (8L) for 72 hours to get 4 tough plant fiber pulp.
- Boil (In a dirty cooking pot- or it will become dirty) your tough plant pulps with equal liters of water to get Soft plant pulp.
- Use a sieve and 4 pulp like usual to get parchment.
- Take (20) Cattails/Papyrus and cut them with a knife into raw strips. The recipe is 5 (in a stack) with a knife to get 1 raw strip.
- Soak raw strips in a barrel with 1 liter per 2 raw strips for 48 hours
- Dry the wet strips for their dry time.
- Cut 4 (in a stack) to create 1 parchment.

- Undecided. I may work on more pulp sources, or the compat with lye and soap.

- Compat with Lye and Soap Bloom.
- Soaking in diluted lye reduces soak time and removes the boil step.
- And maybe a flower paper.
- Maybe Compat with book binders.
- Add more depth to the crafting of papers.
