CLIENT INTEGRITY & FILE REQUEST NOTICE
Authorized server administrators can request suspected altered mod files during an Anti-Cheat investigation.
Newfie's Client Integrity / Anti-Cheat verifies client-side mods against known integrity information from their official Vintage Story ModDB releases.
If a mod appears to have been altered, repacked, replaced or otherwise changed from its known ModDB release, an authorized administrator may request a copy of that suspected mod file for further investigation.
When an administrator uses this feature, the player is shown a confirmation prompt and must agree before the requested file is transferred.
If the player approves the request, Client Integrity can transfer the requested suspected mod file from the player's Vintage Story Mods folder to the connected server for fingerprint comparison, evidence collection and Anti-Cheat analysis.
No requested mod file is transferred through this feature without the player's confirmation. Server owners remain responsible for the handling of evidence files that players approve for transfer.
