Split Hides and Pelts

Need medium hides for crafting, but you only have huge ones from a bear hunt? Well darn! I have just the tweak for you.

This is a simple recipe tweak to allow splitting larger hides and pelts into smaller pieces using either knives or shears, works with pelts and all hides variants (oiled, salted, soaked, scraped, and prepared).

 

 

Note: For recipes with two outputs (e. g. huge -> large + medium), only one is shown in the crafting grid output slot, but you'll get both products when you click it.

 

The recipes are configured based on the vanilla leathermaking recipes:

huge = 5<span class="texhtml">&times;</span> leathers

large = 3<span class="texhtml">&times;</span> leathers

medium = 2<span class="texhtml">&times;</span> leathers

small = 1<span class="texhtml">&times;</span> leather

&nbsp;

So, effectively:

1 huge hide = 5 small hides

1 large hide = 3 small hides

1 medium hide = 2 small hides
