<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Wilderlands Block Adjustments is a work-in-progress structural overhaul mod for <span class="hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline"><span class="whitespace-normal">Vintage Story</span></span>, originally developed for a Wilderlands community server.</span>

<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">This mod rethinks early- and mid-game building progression by introducing instability, drying mechanics, and stronger material requirements.</span>

<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Wet Blocks &amp; Drying Mechanics</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Adds “wet” versions of cob and clay-bound blocks (including vanilla cobblestone).</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Wet blocks are structurally unstable until they dry.</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">You must use bracing or proper support while they cure.</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Once dry, they convert into their stable vanilla equivalents (With the exception of soil-based blocks. See next section).</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Wet cobble blocks can be moved by hand.</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">All dirt-related building blocks are downward unstable.</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Unsupported dirt above doorways and windows will collapse.</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Modifying dirt structures requires careful planning.</span>

• <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Removing blocks without accounting for gravity can bring a structure down.</span>

1. <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Vanilla-style recipe using clay</span>
   <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">→ Produces unstable wet cobblestone.</span>
