Begin your journey assembling convoys of mine wagons powered by haulage engines, transporting vast amounts of resources from collection sites to production centres.
Though slow, haulage engines (minecarts) are capable of transporting large amounts of goods cheaply, and their rails can be laid even on the roughest of terrain.&nbsp;

The flatbeds on haulage engines provide great flexibility, you can place anything on them from chests, to crates, to lanterns, and even players!

Vehicles operate using a power-to-weight ratio, engines must be able to produce enough power to overcome the weight they are pulling in order to move. Spare power dictates speed.
This means that in order to pull larger loads, you'll need to manufacture increasingly advanced engines capable of making more efficient use of higher grade fuels which burn hotter.
