Its scales, black as a starless night, drink all warmth and hope. Where this dragon keeps its watch, only darkness remains.

A fully standalone Pal with its own Paldeck slot — not a skin toggle. Black, silver and crimson armour on the Aegidron frame. Base Aegidron is left completely untouched, and both exist in the same world.

INSTALL — ONE CLICK

Click Subscribe to all on the Required Items above, then:

That is the whole install. No manual file copying, no downloads from anywhere else.

• Nocturnal — it comes alive after dark
• Partner Skill "Dreadwyrm Sovereign" — while in your party, you and your Pals gain +10% Attack. While riding, your attacks become Dark and inflict Blind; attacks on Blinded foes deal +15% damage, and every foe you defeat cuts your Pal's active skill cooldown by 20%. All values scale with Condensation, up to +45%, +40% and -40%.
• Real drops — Thermal Core and Giant Pal Soul, with World Tree Holy Water, Dragon awakening material and World Tree Relics added at higher levels. The Alpha drops Pal Crystal Ex.
• Spawns as a night-only Alpha boss at Level 70, with a matching Paldeck render and custom icon

WHERE TO FIND IT

Night-only Alpha field boss at Level 70, in the eastern volcanic region around map coords 818, 418. Watch for the Alpha marker once the sun goes down. It will not appear during the day.

Aegidron Noct is also a parent for Sekhmet Noct — pair it with Sekhmet if you have that mod.

ALREADY USING BLACK AEGIDRON?

Black Aegidron is a replacer for base Aegidron. This mod is different — it adds a new standalone Pal in its own dex slot and leaves base Aegidron vanilla. They do not conflict, and you can run both.

ALREADY USING A MANUAL UE4SS?

If you installed UE4SS yourself rather than through the Workshop, do not enable the Workshop UE4SS as well — two copies loading at once will crash the game on startup. Pick one:

Option A — go Workshop Remove your manual UE4SS (dwmapi.dll and the ue4ss folder in Pal\Binaries\Win64), then subscribe here as normal. Your existing Nexus PalSchema mods still work — move their folders to: Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\PalSchema\mods\ Hand-placed mods won't appear in Mod Management and stay always-on. To remove one, delete its folder.

Option B — stay manual Grab the mod from my Nexus page instead and install it the usual way.

DEDICATED SERVERS

Copy this Workshop item's folder into Mods\Workshop\ beside PalServer.exe. In Mods\PalModSettings.ini set bGlobalEnableMod=true and add ActiveModList=AegidronNoct. Restart to apply — the .ini is generated after the first launch.

Spawns are server-authoritative. If the server doesn't have it installed, it will not spawn even if your own client shows it on the map.

UNINSTALL

Untick Aegidron Noct in Mod Management, then unsubscribe.

Before uninstalling: release, sell, or butcher any Aegidron Noct first. Like all custom Pals, it becomes an invalid slot once the mod is removed.

Please do not reupload this mod anywhere. The only official uploads are this Workshop listing and my Nexus page. That includes reposting to other Workshop items, other mod sites, or repacking into modpacks — with or without credit.
