Its steel scales, once black as the void, now gleam with everlasting frost. Where the beast treads, winter follows.

A fully standalone Pal with its own Paldeck slot — not a skin toggle. Silver-ice plating, glacial cyan wings and crystal claws. Base Astegon is left completely untouched, and both exist in the same world.

INSTALL — ONE CLICK

Click Subscribe to all on the Required Items above, then:

That is the whole install. No manual file copying, no downloads from anywhere else.

Multiplayer: every player needs the mod.

• Keeps Astegon's exclusive skill Firefist Breathstorm at Lv35
• Work suitability: Cooling Lv7 · Handiwork Lv3
• Drops Ice Organ, Plasteel and Large Pal Soul
• Spawns as an Alpha boss at Level 55, day or night, with a matching Paldeck render and custom icon

WHERE TO FIND IT

Alpha field boss at Level 55 in the western snowfields, around map coords -289, 257. Unlike my other Pals it is not night-restricted — it spawns at any hour.

ALREADY USING A MANUAL UE4SS?

If you installed UE4SS yourself rather than through the Workshop, do not enable the Workshop UE4SS as well — two copies loading at once will crash the game on startup. Pick one:

Option A — go Workshop Remove your manual UE4SS (dwmapi.dll and the ue4ss folder in Pal\Binaries\Win64), then subscribe here as normal. Your existing Nexus PalSchema mods still work — move their folders to: Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\PalSchema\mods\ Hand-placed mods won't appear in Mod Management and stay always-on. To remove one, delete its folder.

Option B — stay manual Grab the mod from my Nexus page instead and install it the usual way.

DEDICATED SERVERS

Copy this Workshop item's folder into Mods\Workshop\ beside PalServer.exe. In Mods\PalModSettings.ini set bGlobalEnableMod=true and add ActiveModList=AstegonCryst. Restart to apply — the .ini is generated after the first launch.

Spawns are server-authoritative. If the server doesn't have it installed, it will not spawn even if your own client shows it on the map.

UNINSTALL

Untick Astegon Cryst in Mod Management, then unsubscribe.

Before uninstalling: release, sell, or butcher any Astegon Cryst first. Like all custom Pals, it becomes an invalid slot once the mod is removed.

Please do not reupload this mod anywhere. The only official uploads are this Workshop listing and my Nexus page. That includes reposting to other Workshop items, other mod sites, or repacking into modpacks — with or without credit.
