Installation

Multiplayer

The mod has been tested in multiplayer.

Each player who wants to ride without saddles should install and enable the mod on their own client.

Compatibility

Aster's No Saddle supports Pals that expose a usable and unambiguous native ride marker.

A custom or modded Pal may not be supported when it:

• has no native ride marker;
• has multiple ambiguous ride markers;
• uses a completely custom riding implementation; or
• is modified by another mod that replaces the same Partner Skill or riding behavior.

FAQ

Q: The interaction still says "Locked." What should I do?

A: Version 1.0.5 fixes the initial Locked prompt. Confirm that Steam downloaded the latest version, that both UE4SS and Aster's No Saddle are enabled under Mod Management, and that Palworld completed the required restart.

Q: Does this work with Palworld v1.0?

A: Yes. The current release was developed and tested for Palworld v1.0.

Q: Does this permanently unlock saddles or modify my save?

A: No. The mod changes the restriction only at runtime. It does not edit your save file, unlock technologies, or grant saddle items.

Q: Will every custom Pal work?

A: Not necessarily. Custom Pals must use Palworld's normal ride-marker and Partner Skill architecture.
