Automatic Base Doors - Linux

Standalone dedicated-server build for BlackBookOfficial's native Linux UE4SS port. Clients do not install this mod.

Behavior

Player-built doors and large wall gates assigned to a base automatically close two seconds after opening. Compatible Windows clients can send the exact targeted door GUID; the Linux server validates that model, toggles its authoritative state, persists the GUID list across restarts, and acknowledges the result. The Linux package contains no client UI hooks.

Configuration

Edit Scripts/config.lua, then fully restart the server. close_delay_seconds controls the delay and defaults to 2.0 seconds. invert_exclusion_list defaults to false, so IDs in Scripts/auto_close_exclusions.txt do not auto-close. Set it to true to make only listed doors auto-close. Compatible clients continue to toggle the door's actual enabled state in either mode.

Requirements

 • Tested on Palworld 1.0.5 dedicated server on Linux
 • Unmodified BlackBookOfficial native Linux UE4SS source revision 2397c7b1ce2841fd6526b8d8110cd008c90a6316; the published v1.0.2-palworld-linux binary lacks the required mutex fix. See the packaged INSTALL.md for build instructions.
 • Native hooks only; BPModLoaderMod and BPML_GenericFunctions are not required by this Linux package

UE4SSExperimentalPW and Shared Interaction UI are not required on the Linux server. Do not enable this package together with the standard Windows AutoCloseDoors server package.

Auto-open

Auto-open is enabled by default. Set auto_open_enabled = false in Scripts/config.lua on the host or server to disable it, then restart. Accessible doors with auto-close enabled open when a player enters their interaction volume and close after the last player leaves. auto_open_exit_delay_seconds defaults to 0.25 seconds; manually opened doors retain close_delay_seconds (2 seconds by default). Returning cancels closure. Password-locked doors remain manual. Preserve your config.lua and auto_close_exclusions.txt when upgrading.
