Grintale, Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua now work from your base camp — not just from your party.

In vanilla, their egg partner skills only trigger while the Pal is in your party. This mod makes them work when the Pal is simply assigned to a base camp, applying to eggs you pick up inside that base.

• In this mod, the extra egg is an exact duplicate — same contained Pal, same IVs, same passive skills.
• For mutation eggs, the first two passive slots are rolled again instead of copied, the way the game does it.
• Alpha conversion also raises the egg tier, matching naturally occurring Alpha eggs.
• With both Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua assigned, their chances add up, exactly like vanilla. At max rank that is 45 + 55 = a guaranteed conversion.
• The vanilla "mysterious power" message is shown, just like the party version.
• Only applies to eggs picked up inside the base camp where the Pal is assigned.
• The in-game partner skill descriptions are updated to say the effect also works at a base camp.

Vanilla probabilities and behaviour are reproduced as closely as possible. Nothing is buffed.

One known difference: in vanilla, the duplicate does not always carry over every IV. The rule behind that is not visible in the code available to modders, so this mod copies all IVs exactly rather than inventing probabilities. If the actual rule turns up, it will be implemented.

Both are listed as required items, so subscribing to this mod pulls them in.

Singleplayer. Dedicated servers are untested.

Known limitation

When an Alpha conversion happens, the pickup log line briefly shows the egg's pre-upgrade name. The item you actually receive is correct — only that one line of text lags behind. The game builds that line in code the mod cannot reach.
