Building Mover

Annoyed you have to clean out a chest before destroying and rebuilding it? Put a chest or workbench in the wrong spot?

I got you!

How to use

• Open the build menu and choose Move Mode by pressing G.
• Click anything you built to pick it up.
• Click again to place it.
• Press H to pick up everything connected instead: foundations, walls, roofs and whatever stands on them move as one and follow the preview.
• Whatever you set down connects like freshly built: objects attach to the floor they stand on, and foundations, walls, gates, fences, roofs, roof corners, stairs, ladders, pillars, triangle pieces and diagonal walls reconnect to their neighbours, so they come along later.
• You stay in Move Mode for the next object. Press Esc to leave, or G to switch to Disassembly Mode.

Chests keep their contents, and everything keeps its name and settings. Palboxes can't be moved, alone or as part of a group.

Configuration

Optional. With the Better Mod Manager installed, the keys and the group size limit can be changed in-game in the "Mods" tab. Without it, edit Scripts/config.lua inside the mod folder.

Multiplayer

The server needs the mod, and so does every player who wants to move things. Players without the mod see the object in the new spot after reconnecting.
