[h3]Have you ever been frustraded by seeing absolutely diddly-squat while trying to aim a huge Pal at a station? With this mod, every Pal you lift up shrinks down to a handy size - think a little bigger than a Lamball. So now, you can actually see where you're throwing the poor thing.

The second you pick them up, they shrink down. The second you let them go, they're going back to their original size. Simple, easy – that's the whole mod.[/h3]

• Shrinks any Pal you pick up and carry in your base, no matter how enormous
• Leaves the little ones alone - a Lamball or a Jolthog is already quite handy, so it stays exactly as it was
• Does not mess with their actual size or with what is on your savefile, changes their visual size as you pick them up or let them go
• Absolutely no performance hit nor stuttering while resizing pals
• Lua script that'll just kick in whenever it's needed, doesn't replace or patch a single one of your game files
• Also works with any pal-skins you might have installed and all Vanilla costumes
• Works on alphas, bosses and even on pals added by future updates - it measures every pal on the spot instead of carrying around a list of sizes
• Built in a way that doesn't break with each new update. Install once, use forever!

[Known Issues]

• Some Pals will look considerably smaller than others. The mod measures a pal's body, and antlers, wings and long tails aren't part of that - so an Eikthyrdeer, which is basically half antlers, ends up daintier than you'd expect. Known kink, not that bothersome, and still the better deal: measure the wingspan instead and a Nitewing turns into a pebble.
• While not being tested yet on a dedicated server, this mod is built as a simple Client side version. It only changes the visual for the player, would not work if only one side has it installed. Meant as a per player decision, anyone who wants to see more while having a Pal lifted can decide to do so themselves.
• There is no config or resizing menu provided for this mod, you install it and it delivers one resize option for big Pals with a size threshold for smaller ones. If requested it can be added with a later update.

[What's the point?]

Sadly, while having bigger pals picked up,sometimes there was an opacity effect – which was simply not enough for me. I had always wished it wouldn't look so ridiculous while carrying a Pal around my base, making them shrink a bit while being lifted, solves this issue for me. How come they fit into Pal Spheres anyway, they'll have to be a bit dynamic with their tamer. As an added Bonus: They look really freaking cute when you carry the little ones around.

No files injected, just a neat Lua script running alongside your game with UE4SS.

Get both this mod and UE4SS from the same source. Either both from Steam Workshop, or both from Nexusmods. If you installed them from different sources, it can lead to issues.!

[How to Install]

++Steam Workshop++ [*] Subscribe to mod [*] Enable it in the game under Options > Mod Management > Restart your game [*] After restart join a world, lift a Pal & profit

++Manual via Nexusmods++ [*] Get the files from Nexusmods. [*] Drop the mod folder into Palworld\Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\ and restart [*] After restart join a world, lift a pal & profit

[How to Uninstall]

Best case: [*] Game Main Menu > Options > Mod Management > Disable Mod > Leave game [*] Go to Steam Workshop item > Unsubscribe [*] Check if all modfiles are gone in \Palworld\Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\ [*] Restart your game – done

Sloppy but works: [*] Unsubscribe from the Workshop Item [*] Don't look at anything else – done

Manual [*] Delete the HoneyIShrunkThePals folder in \Palworld\Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\

Went with the uninstall of your choice? > Nothing else to clean up. Heads up though: disabling a mod is not the same as uninstalling it

[Before you install]

- Back up your save. This mod writes nothing to it, but a backup costs you a minute and it's the only thing that makes a bad surprise fixable.

- Do not enable mods on official servers. Pocketpair call that strictly prohibited and it can get your account suspended. Singleplayer and your own servers are what this is for.
