Lords and Emperors

Ever thought Emperors seemed weak?

Lets face it, Lord and Emperor passives are just okay. Sure, they give 30% attack buffs, but the base game doesn't do anything to build on those strengths.

Lords and Emperors seeks to change that by modifying those passives to better suit the pals that have them naturally. Now, Emperors act like Emperors, with stronger resistances against their elemental weaknesses, max HP buffs, and movement/work speed buffs to make them capable at whatever task is in front of them. These changes will make these pals harder to fight, but more rewarding to obtain.

View the spreadsheet listing all changed passives on Google Sheets. This mod ONLY changes those specific passives, so if a vanilla passive is not on that list, it's not changed by this mod. If you think I overlooked a passive that would fit this mod, please leave a comment! This mod does not add any new passives to the game...

HOWEVER, this mod pairs well with Bad Friends which adds many new passives to the game, including surgical implants for most of them. That mod does not make any changes to existing passives, it only adds new ones, so basically it's the opposite of this one.

Compatibility

This mod will not be compatible with other mods that change the same passives, like if you have a mod that changes the effects of the Lucky passive. Using this with mods that change the same passives may cause game crashes or just unexpected behavior from the game engine.

If you use such mods, you can easily cross-check the passives using the spreadsheet linked above.

Make sure to subscribe and turn on those mods before trying Lords and Emperors.

Server Info:

Lords and Emperors was not tested in server environments. Reportedly this mod will require being on your server and your clients. Try at your own risk.

Version 1.02.00: Corrected an issue spotted by lupiv (thanks again!) that was causing passives to not work as intended.

Version 1.01.00: Added Otherworldly Cells, God of Destruction, Twin-Edged Holy Blade, Sanctified Meat Shield, Dimensional Leap, and Diamond Body to the list of modified passives.
