Become your pals!

With cutting-edge technology installed on your Pal Spheres, you can now fuse (synchronize!) with your pals!

Due to changes in 1.0, PalSync works differently than before

The main change is that the "Sync Bonus" is no longer built-in, you'll have to install a special passive called "Synchronization" to get it. This passive has 3 tiers, with the 3rd requiring a special surgery chip. However, this also means pals don't lose partner skills anymore.

Using the Pal Dressing Facility to equip the "Synchro Ready" skin of your chosen pal, you can press the "Ride" button to take full control of the pal! Not only do you get to play as your pal, but you gain powerful bonuses for combat: Increased Attack, Increased Defense, and Massively Reduced Cooldown! Currently over 70 pals are supported!

Remember! Palworld will not load mods by default! After subscribing to this mod and its requirements, you must enable them and mods in general in the in-game menu, under title screen->options->mod management. If you are having issues, try enabling the requirements first, and enabling PalSync after!

Other important info:

PalSync adds 9 special Passive Skills to the random pool

3 bad passives, 3 good passives, and 3 "odd passives" Some of these passives are available as implants, with 2 of them requiring unlocking a (vanilla) implant module

Compatibility

PalSync is perfectly safe to install and remove! Just remember that if a pal has the Synchro Skin and the mod is missing, that specific pal may act unusual, and won't load an icon. You can fix this by using the "delete skin" option at the top of the dressing facility menu! It may not function in vanilla multiplayer environments (i.e. public servers), but works fine if all users (including the server host) have it installed! If a pal has a Sync passive, you can delete it by replacing it manually in the surgery table! You can upload Synchro Pals to the Global Box, but be aware that vanilla servers/games may "reject" download of the pal if they don't have the mod properly loaded. The Alt Skins may be incompatible with recolors/remodels of the main pal species, but the base Synchro Skins should work with any other mod. Other than flavor text, no changes are made to any Pals. If no Synchro Skin is equipped, pals are not modified at all.

Known issues

NPCs cannot "See" the player committing crimes

Obviously, the PIDF contract doesn't cover crimes committed by Pals, and they can't tell the difference. 100% a feature!

Player cannot "spot" wild pals, including bosses, to display their HP/level bar

This is an issue with how PalSync works, and I do not know a way around it that won't potentially break immersion. You can de-sync for a moment to "spot" a pal, and its health bar will remain visible even if you re-sync

Anubis and Splatterina have weird side effects with their signature moves

Consider this a warning. Nothing permanent, unless you play with Perma-death on (and even then, it would take a rather unfortunate string of events), but the move selection menu and its consequences are yours. Forceful Charge and Grudge Barrage are not safe for a player to control.

Spheres deflect weirdly sometimes

If I can play the entire game with the Slider Module, you can play as Ribbuny with erratic sphere bouncing.
