Turn a captured Pal into a related form. It keeps everything it earned. Hold 4 to open the wheel and pick Evolve. At the end of its evolution line, a Pal can prestige: back to level 1, up to ten times. New in 2.0: two Pals fuse, for 60 seconds in a fight or for good at the Fusion Altar.

Fusion
- In a fight: pick Fusion in the wheel, then a partner from your party. Your summoned Pal and the partner fuse into a stronger Pal for 60 seconds, then split again and share the damage. It costs a Fusion Shard, and the same two Pals wait five minutes before the next fusion.
- The fused Pal takes the higher IVs and souls, the four best passives and the combined experience.
- At the Fusion Altar: two Pals become one for good. Set two of your Pals into it, then choose the gender and up to four passives. The second Pal is used up, and each fusion costs a Fusion Core. The altar unlocks at technology level 43, in the Pal section of the build menu.
- The default tree ships 17 fusion rules, like Penking and Beakon into Penking Lux. Any other pair fuses into a stronger species by the breeding formula.
- Craft Fusion Shards and Fusion Cores at the Pal Alchemy Workbench.
- The Palpedia gets a Fusions tab. The web configurator draws a fusion tree, and its calculator shows what any two Pals become.
- Servers set the altar's unlock level, its build cost and both recipes. Every player near the altar sees the fusion.
Evolution
- The default evolution tree has 156 transformations: 62 evolution lines like Pengullet to Penking, 87 element adaptations like Pengullet to Pengullet Lux and seven fun chains.
- Pals keep level, nickname, gender, passives, IVs, souls, condenser rank and every learned move, including moves the new form could never learn on its own. Alphas stay Alpha, and Luckys stay Lucky.
- The evolution sequence plays in front of you, with a finale built from the target's elements.
- An evolution pair may depend on day or night, water, a status effect, a location, a party member, a known move or passive, an item or gold, condenser rank or souls, the last thing you hand-fed it, or a trainer level, trust rank or IV threshold. Any condition can be inverted. You control how much a locked option gives away.
- Evolving adds an Evolved passive from I to IV, raising max HP, movement speed and work speed, with an optional fourth move slot.
- The Palpedia gets an Evolutions tab next to Stats and Habitat, with the level, stone and conditions for each step.
- "!palvolve rollback" restores the previous form, and Palvolve refunds the cost if an evolution aborts.
Prestige At the end of its evolution line, a Pal can prestige and return to level 1. It keeps its nickname, passives, IVs, souls and every learned move. Each prestige adds one Prestige rank, up to 10, and a permanent shimmer everyone on the server sees. Craft the Prestige Stone from an Evolution Stone and Nightstar Sand. The prestige sequence grows with every rank.
Automatic evolutions Set an evolution to automatic and it runs as soon as its conditions are met. It is off by default. Keep one Pal out with "!palvolve lock".
Install
- Subscribe, then enable Palvolve under Options > Mod Management.
- The Workshop pulls in UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) and PalSchema. Keep this order in the list: UE4SS, then PalSchema, then Palvolve.
You need no extra setup for single player or joining a friend.
Your tree, your rules
- Build and share an evolution tree at https://palvolve.doodesch.de/steam. Rewire pairs, set levels, stones and conditions, add fusion rules, then download config_user.lua. 17 languages.
- Drop config_user.lua into the mod's scripts folder beside config.lua. Palvolve moves it out of reach of mod updates and logs the new path.
Multiplayer and dedicated servers
- Install on the host or server AND on every client. A client-only install does not work.
- The server sends its evolution tree and settings to everyone who joins. Your own tree returns when you leave.
- The host checks ownership, level, cost and conditions before anything changes.
- On a dedicated server, only the evolving player sees the evolution sequence. Everyone else sees a recall and a resummon.
On a dedicated server, install Palvolve from the GitHub release zip, not the Workshop item: https://github.com/DooDesch-Mods/Palworld-Palvolve#dedicated-servers
FAQ
How do I evolve a Pal? - Build the Pal Alchemy Workbench at level 10, forge an Evolution Stone from skill-fruit essences, then hold 4 and pick Evolve. F2 works too once you set confirmKeyEnabled.
How do I make an Adaptation Stone? - One Evolution Stone and one Essence of the target element. One skill fruit of that element makes an Essence, and so do ten matching drops, such as Wool for Normal.
Why does my Pal only offer Evolve, not Prestige? - An evolution still lies ahead of it. Prestige appears at the end of the line, once the Pal reaches the level your server asks for.
No "Evolve" option in the wheel? - UE4SS is not loading Palvolve. Check that UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) is installed, Palvolve is enabled and the load order is UE4SS, PalSchema, Palvolve.
No Pal Alchemy Workbench or Fusion Altar? - PalSchema is not loading. Unsubscribing and subscribing again is often not enough. Delete the PalSchema folder from ManagedMods and from the ue4ss Mods folder, then subscribe again.
The workbench relocks itself on a server? - Palvolve must run on the server too.
"Unknown Command" when I type /palvolve rollback?
