Tired of farming the Arena just to get a decent implant? Sick of the Disassembly Conveyor giving you nothing but raw materials while your captured Pals go to waste? Not anymore.
Passive Recycling gives the Disassembly Conveyor a real reason to exist: every Pal it processes now has a chance to also drop an Operating Table implant carrying one of that Pal's own passive skills. Butcher your surplus catches automatically and get useful implants as a side effect - no more Arena grinding just to reroll a passive.
How it works
When the conveyor finishes converting a Pal, the mod rolls through that Pal's passive skills (in random order) looking for one that can drop:
- Rank 1 passives: 30% chance
- Rank 2 passives: 20% chance
- Rank 3 passives: 10% chance
- Rank 4 (Legendary) passives: 5% chance
- Negative/downside passives: 30% chance
If a roll fails (or that passive has no implant item to give), it tries the Pal's next passive instead - so you still get a shot at a drop even if the first pick whiffs. Maximum one implant per Pal, and only the automated conveyor is affected - manual knife butchering is untouched.
Important: what this PAK alone covers
By default this PAK can only drop implants for passives that already have a real implant item in vanilla Palworld - that's roughly 35 out of the game's hundreds of passives. Everything else has no item to drop, so those Pals just won't produce an implant. Since most of them are non-disposable you will be able to use them multiple times.
If you want (almost) every passive in the game to be droppable, install the companion PalSchema add-on, which adds the missing implant items and wires them into the Operating Table: Passive Recycling - More Implants (PalSchema add-on) This will however also change all Implants (including the ones from Merchants) into Disposable one-time use.
Multiplayer / servers
Works both singleplayer and multiplayer. On a dedicated server, only the host/dedicated server needs this PAK installed - clients connecting don't need it.
Compatibility
This is a pure LogicMod PAK - no base game files are overwritten. Should be compatible with most other mods.
Requires UE4SS to be installed to work!
