Remote Auto Feed
Dedicated-server only. Clients do not need this mod or UE4SS.
Remote Auto Feed prevents base Pals from walking across the base to a feed box whenever they become hungry.
Palworld still selects the normal feed box and food. The server then uses Palworld's own item-use API to feed the Pal remotely, cancels the feed-box movement action, and lets the Pal continue working.
Features
- No more trips to the feed box for working base Pals
- Server-side only — no client installation required
- Uses the feed box selected by vanilla Palworld
- Uses Palworld's own food-use function instead of directly editing inventory or hunger
- Feeds each hungry Pal to at least 90% of its own maximum stomach capacity
- Respects vanilla EatMaxNum with an additional safety cap
- Handles multiple hungry Pals safely with per-feed-box meal serialization
- Lightweight meal logging for server admins
Normal server log
A completed meal produces one compact UE4SS log entry:
[RemoteAutoFeed] MEAL | Pal=BP_Serpent_C | items=5 | fullness=50.0%->99.9% | target=90.0% | status=complete
Detailed target, bite and queue logging can be enabled in
Scripts/config.lua
:
DebugLogging = true
Requirements
- Palworld 1.0
- Windows dedicated server
- UE4SS Experimental (Palworld)
UE4SS Workshop item: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3625223587
Server installation
This is packaged for Palworld's official Workshop mod loader.
After downloading the Workshop item to the server, enable the package name:
[PalModSettings]
bGlobalEnableMod=true
ActiveModList=UE4SS
ActiveModList=RemoteAutoFeed
Then fully restart the dedicated server.
RemoteAutoFeed is marked with a server-only Lua InstallRule. Clients connecting to the server do not need to subscribe to RemoteAutoFeed.
Configuration
The default target is 90%:
TargetSatietyPercent = 0.90
Examples:
- 0.80 = 80%
- 0.90 = 90%
- 0.95 = 95%
How it works
When Palworld creates its normal RecoverHungry / ApproachToFoodBox action, RemoteAutoFeed waits until the vanilla feed-box target is initialized. It then cancels the movement and calls Palworld's own RequestUseToCharacter() for valid food in that feed box.
Each bite is verified against that specific Pal's FullStomach value. The mod does not directly decrement item stacks or directly set satiety.
Compatibility / safety
- No custom RPCs
- No custom replicated classes
- No client UI or assets
- No direct StackCount modification
- No direct FullStomach modification
As with all Palworld mods, back up important worlds before changing your server mod setup and retest after major Palworld updates.
