Version 0.1.1 - loader warning fix

Corrects the misleading UE4SS 'Mod is not installable' warning. Gameplay behavior is unchanged.

Updating from 0.1.0: Save and fully close Palworld. Back up custom Scripts/config.lua settings from the SquarePalbox mod folder, and reapply them after updating. Let Steam download the update, apply it in Mod Management and fully restart. If the warning persists, fully close Palworld and remove only this mod's old dlls subfolder, including the empty folder itself. Do not remove the UE4SS Mods directory.

Build with the companion mods

Palbox Surveyor - Now With GridLock Palbox Border Auto-Hide These companions are optional. Each mod can be used separately.

Keep the Palbox's current reach to each side and gain usable corners. Version 0.1.1 changes the actual horizontal base boundary to one square centered on the Palbox, with a matching visible border.

One square, usable corners

The square's half-side equals the original base radius. A 35 m radius becomes a 70 m by 70 m square. This changes real base membership, not only the drawn outline. Saved base ownership, IDs and Palbox positions are preserved; the original vertical rules remain.

Existing bases update automatically

The square applies when the mod enables. Existing and newly built Palbox outlines refresh on load and after travel, so you do not need to rebuild a Palbox. Installation enables square mode; there is no in-game shape toggle.

Choose the alignment

• Default: follow the Palbox. Each real square turns with its Palbox's facing.
• Compass alignment: set Alignment = 'cardinal' in Scripts/config.lua while Palworld is fully closed, then restart. This locks the sides north/south/east/west.
• Set Alignment = 'palbox' to return to the default facing behavior.

Surveyor's planning grid starts north-south/east-west independently of this setting. Surveyor automatically previews a square when this mod's native square mode is active, and keeps its vanilla-circle preview otherwise. Border Auto-Hide controls the real border with L.

Compatibility and removal

Tested in Windows Steam single-player on Palworld 1.0.5, Steam build 25246127, with Palworld UE4SS 2281fa31. The native helper validates the executable before enabling. Unsupported game builds may be rejected. Multiplayer/dedicated servers, overlapping bases, other base-range mods and exhaustive worker/raid/navigation cases remain unverified.

Removing the mod restores circular membership on the next launch. Structures placed in the added corners will then be outside the circular base. Save and fully close Palworld before changing installed files.
