Shore Cut - Aquatic Construction Kit easier unlock

This mod is now mostly obsolete and can be safely disabled. If you still want an even easier unlock, read on.

Palworld update 1.0.3 states, "Changed the technology unlock level of the Aquatic Construction Kit from Level 66 to Level 23, changed its Ancient Technology Point requirement from 4 to 1, and adjusted the required materials and work amount." making this mod mostly obsolete. I have however tweaked it so that it still gives you an easier unlock at both level 19 (instead of 23) and only needs 2 normal Technology Points instead of the Ancient Technology Point vanilla requires.

Take a shore cut and unlock the Aquatic Construction Kit at level 19!

This is the realistic version of the two Shore Cut mods and unlocks the Kit relatively in keeping with the game progression, at the same level as the Stone Structure Set and Cement. This mod also removes the Ancient Technology Points requirement.

NOTE! After unlocking the technology, it still needs to be made at the High Quality Workbench (or production assembly lines)! You only need to make it once and it will appear in your Key Items. There are no ongoing material costs (the same as any other key item).

Multiplayer

Local multiplayer: Compatible (only the players who have the mod enabled will be able to unlock the Kit at level 19). Dedicated servers: Compatible but Windows only (sorry, UE4SS is Windows only) - BOTH the server and all players must have the mod enabled for it to work. Important installation notes

- Palworld does not automatically enable mods after you subscribe to mods here in the Workshop. After subscribing: 1. Start the game and go to Options 2. Go to Mod Management 3. Make sure Enable Mod is set to ON 4. Put a tick in the box beside this mod as well as UE4SS and Palschema 4. Click Save and the game will restart with the mod enabled

Can be enabled safely in existing saves at any time.

Issues

If you're having issues with the mod not working, double check the above. Also ensure that you only have one version of this mod enabled at a time. Important: After an update, you may need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe to force Steam to update the mod correctly. If you're on a dedicated server and having issues, please make sure you have installed UE4SS, Palschema and the mod to the correct location (see above under "Multiplayer".

Uninstalling

Can be uninstalled safely at any time. If you have already unlocked the kit, it will still be in your key items after the mod is disabled/removed and the kit will go back to being a vanilla level 23 unlock.

No AI - all made by me using FOSS software

There has been zero use of AI in making this mod. The screenshots were all taken by me in game. The graphics were done in GIMP and Inkscape completely 'by hand'. This description is written solely by me. I used Kate (Advanced Text Editor) for the Palschema files. I used the Palschema tutorial docs to learn how to make the mods and Paldb for things like item internal codes and to work out balanced material requirements. I also helped support the Gilland font creator by paying for it.
