Shore Cut - Aquatic Construction Kit lvl 2 unlocker

Take a shore cut and unlock the Aquatic Construction Kit at only level 2! Because even lowbies deserve access to building beautiful, functional and fun bases on water.

In game requirements

- 1 (normal) Technology Point (no Ancient Technology Points needed) - 5 Wood - 10 Stone - 5 Paldium Fragments

NOTE! After unlocking the technology, it still needs to be made at the High Quality Workbench (or production assembly lines)! You only need to make it once and it will appear in your Key Items. There are no ongoing material costs (the same as any other key item).

Multiplayer

Local multiplayer: Compatible (only the players who have the mod enabled will be able to unlock the Kit at level 2). Dedicated servers: Compatible but Windows only (sorry, UE4SS is Windows only) - BOTH the server and all players must have the mod enabled for it to work. Important installation notes

- Palworld does not automatically enable mods after you subscribe to mods here in the Workshop. After subscribing: 1. Start the game and go to Options 2. Go to Mod Management 3. Make sure Enable Mod is set to ON 4. Put a tick in the box beside this mod as well as UE4SS and Palschema 4. Click Save and the game will restart with the mod enabled

Can be enabled safely in existing saves at any time.

Issues

If you're having issues with the mod not working, double check the above. Also ensure that you only have one version enabled at a time. Important: After an update, you may need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe to force Steam to update the mod correctly. If you're on a dedicated server and having issues, please make sure you have installed UE4SS, Palschema and the mod to the correct location (see above under "Multiplayer").

Uninstalling

Can be uninstalled safely at any time. If you have already unlocked the kit, it will still be in your key items after the mod is disabled/removed and the kit will go back to being a vanilla level 23 unlock.

No AI - all made by me using FOSS software

There has been zero use of AI in making this mod. The screenshots were all taken by me in game. The graphics were done in GIMP and Inkscape completely 'by hand'. This description is written solely by me. I used Kate (Advanced Text Editor) for the Palschema files. I used the Palschema tutorial docs to learn how to make the mods and Paldb for things like item internal codes and to work out balanced material requirements. I also helped support the Gilland font creator by paying for it.

pak alternative

MaJoRx0 has an existing pak mod that unlocks the Kit at level 1 on Nexus if you prefer Nexus or pak: https://www.nexusmods.com/palworld/mods/3621 This mod has nothing to do with MaJoRx0's mod - full props to them for doing it first!
