Save your base and structures from taking too much damage or burning down! You can chose to reduce damage or just simply turn it off, and you can even decide to use different rules inside and outside of your base.

Everything is customizable!
保护你的基地和建筑,避免受到过多伤害或被烧毁! 你可以选择减少伤害,或者直接将其关闭,甚至还可以决定在基地内外使用不同的规则。

一切都可以自定义!

Structures Built to Last solves damage to structures in a new way, it let's you have complete freedom over how much or how little damage a building inside or outside your base will receive! And it even let's you separate the inside and the outside damage multipliers, so you can adjust them individually!

And – that also solves the issue with invisible fire burning down foundations, maybe a water pal can't solve this, but this mod sure can! Best of all, it's completely reversible if you don't like it!

(Finally a Palworld 1.0 compatible Structural Damage mod!)

[Features]

Completely customize the damage to structures in your world (0% up to 100% of Vanilla)

Set individual Damage Multipliers for structures inside your base and outside of it

Make structures outside your base invincible while keeping the thrill of base raids

Turn off burn damage, your wooden structures no longer look like they are deteriorating

Quickly want to save the base that caught fire? Activate one mod setting and rejoice

Turn off Palworld's annoying 1 damage minimum – 0 is now a valid damage number!

Burning gone, even after you uninstall the mod – full fix, not just suppression

Customize all your settings in an easy to use settings file

Works on existing worlds as well as new ones!

[Worried about risks?]

It does not change your savefile at all! No stats changed or files loaded, everything in one neat script at runtime

Removing the mod is quick and easy, just unsubscribe and upon reload all values will be Vanilla again

Accidentaly messed up the settings? Just delete that config file and the game will auto regenerate the default settings for you when restarting Palworld!

[Installation]

You need UE4SS Experimental (Palworld). Without that loader this mod does nothing, and it cannot install it for you. Get both from the same place - both from the Workshop, or both from Nexusmods.

++Steam Workshop install++

 • Step 1: Subscribe
 • Step 2: Start the game
 • Step 3: Go to Options > Mod Management > Enable "Structures Built to Last" > Save (asks for restart > yes)
 • Note: That restart creates the config.ini file in the mod root folder.
 • Step 4: (optional): Set up your config.ini as you need it (the mod's default damage is 10% [set as 0.1] of the original Vanilla damage)
 •
The default settings already stop your buildings from burning and set a lower damage - if that is all you wanted, you can stop at step 3
•

Find the mod folder here:

[Settings]

When you edit a value, save the file and restart the game. Every setting is explained inside config.ini in detail!

 • DamageMultiplier : value for new damage calculation (0.00 to 1.00, eg. 0.50 = 50%), if SeparateAreas is used, inside & outside get their own multipliers
 • SeparateAreas : FALSE by default – separates damage for the inside and outsides playerbases, in Vanilla they're one and the same
 • ProtectOutside / ProtectInside : TRUE by default – unused as long as SeparateAreas ist not turned on, decides if custom damage is applied or vanilla
 • RemoveMinimumDamage : TRUE by default – allows the game to use 0 damage as a valid damage number
 • PreventNewFires : TRUE by default – prevents structures from having the burning effect
 • PutOutExistingFires : FALSE by default – turn on to kill all currently burning fires

...\Palworld\Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\StructuresBuiltToLast\config.ini

If you made an error or accidentally removed something: You can just go and delete the config.ini file completely. Afterwards restart your game – it will automatically regenerate the file with default settings!

Note on settings: It does matter what you set the "Damage to Structures Multiplier" in the custom settings to. This mod works with that setting, so it doesn't need to write to your Savefile – that might sound like a hassle but it's a win and ensures that your game is running well. Whatever you set the damage multipliers in the settings to, are actually percentages of that Vanilla custom setting!

For more information on the settings, please visit the mod's nexusmods page

[How to Uninstall]

Unsubscribe on Steam (or delete the StructuresBuiltToLast folder, if you put it there manually). That's already is the whole procedure.

Nothing will be left in your save. Since this is a script, every settings last only as long as Palworld is running. This means it's rebuilt when the game starts, so the moment the mod is uninstalled or deleted, your buildings take normal damage again.

Note: The previously mentioned exception is 'PutOutExistingFires', and only if you used it: fires it put out stay

[Known limits]

 • Fires already burning stop costing health at once, but their health bars stay until the next world load (if you enabled 'PutOutExistingFires') – but this is display only, so no worries if you don't reload at once. It's just ugly to be near any structures.
