Unlimited Resources - Free Crafting and Building

Unlimited resources for Palworld 1.0: free crafting and free building with no materials used, or any cost you like (half price, normal, or harder up to x100), set separately for crafting and building. Changes the game's own costs in memory, no table replacement. Single player. Palworld 1.0.5 + UE4SS. Also known as: craft without ingredients, creative crafting in survival.

How to turn it on (once)

[*]Go to Options > Mod Management and set Enable Mod to ON. [*]Tick UE4SS Experimental (Palworld) and Unlimited Resources - Free Crafting and Building. [*]Click Save. The game restarts with the mod on. [/olist]

Only one UE4SS at a time. If you ever installed UE4SS by hand (from Nexus or GitHub), delete dwmapi.dll (and xinput1_3.dll if present) in Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64 first, or the game crashes at start. This is the same advice the UE4SS package's author gives.

Features

• Every recipe at every production station (workbenches, furnaces, kitchens, factories...) and every structure in the build menu costs original x setting. Default: 0 = free.
• Applied at the title screen and every time you load a world. Change config.lua, save, load your world again.
• Changes the game's own costs in memory. Nothing is replaced on disk and nothing is written to your save.
• Crafting and building still take their normal time and need the right station and Pals.
• Single player only: in a multiplayer world (hosting or joining) every cost goes back to normal by itself.
• No hotkeys, no timers, no background loops.

Config

Settings in config.lua (where to find it: see Good to know):

• crafting_cost (default 0): Crafting at workbenches, furnaces, kitchens, medicine benches, factories and all other production stations. Consequence: with 0 you can craft anything you have unlocked without gathering. Orders already running keep what they cost. Your crafting still takes the normal time and still needs the right station and Pals.
• building_cost (default 0): Building: foundations, walls, furniture, defenses and every other structure in the build menu. Consequence: with 0 you can build without materials, but building still takes the normal work. Dismantling: the game works out the refund from the cost it knows NOW, so with 0 you may get nothing back, even for things you built before; with a higher value you may get more back than you paid.

Good to know

• Made for single player and your own co-op world. Don't use mods on official servers (Pocketpair's rule).
• Settings: the game installs the mod's config file at ...\Palworld\Mods\NativeMods\UE4SS\Mods\OTCUnlimitedResources\Scripts\config.lua. Edit it with a text editor, save, then restart the game. Every update of this mod replaces that file, so your edits are lost: write your values down and set them again after an update.
• To switch it off: untick it in Options > Mod Management and click Save (or unsubscribe).
