Vanilla Weapons Plus - Gunworks Edition

To celebrate version 42 going stable, this mod is dedicated to those who love vanilla guns.

This is a small project that started as an experiment and grew into an exploration of how vanilla weapons would look and perform with the improvements from the Gunworks Framework. It is also a smaller mod for those who prefer a more vanilla experience while still enjoying the enhancements the framework offers.

Features

Vanilla weapons have received a small upgrade, including:

• Animated moving parts when firing, such as shotgun pumps, pistol slides, and rifle bolts
• New bayonets that can be attached to certain weapons
• New weapons that fit the vanilla style and expand your arsenal
• A new magazine system for some weapons, with multiple compatible magazines available for certain guns
• Improved RPM for automatic weapons
• The base assault rifle (M16A2 in-game name) will perform in burst mode
• A new ammunition type: 7.62x39mm for AK-47 rifles
• Support for Slayer Item Arrange and Stimp Ammo Maker included.

Please report any bugs you find in the proper bug report threads.

Incompatibilities

• While both mods are mine, do not use with Guns of Marz, they have design overlaps and some models will replace each other.
• As usual, any mod that overwrites base-game scripts may cause issues with the framework.

FAQ

• To use bayonets while installed on weapons, press space to shove
• Attachments now require tools again; most attachments will use a screwdriver, while muzzle-end attachments require a wrench (muzzle flashes and silencers)
• New weapons have a lower spawn chance than base vanilla ones
