About Bot Equipment Adjustments

From mod.io

Adjust bot equipment based on combat situations, allowing gear to be added or removed dynamically.

The idea for this mod was inspired by a mod user, brb0161. His request happened to remind me of a need I had encountered a few weeks ago, and this mod was born from that coincidence.

🎯 Mod Information :

  • Mutator name:BotEquipAdjust
  • Requirement:Server and Client
  • The mod is compatible with all game modes, theaters, expanded arsenals, and other mods.
  • At this stage, I don't actually intend to fully complete it yet. It's more of a starting point to address the current need. Once everything is ready, I'll begin refining and expanding on my ideas for this mod.

🧩 What you can get:

  • [Current]: Add Accessories category items to the equipment of the AI Bot with the specified Faction.

🛠 How to set up:

  1. Make sure you are familiar with the use of the module, you can refer to the official guide.
  2. Subscribe to this mod using either the Mod.io account used by the server or the player's Mod.io account.
  3. Add the Mutator name to the server startup parameters.
  4. Add Mutator configuration in your server's Game.ini(If needed) .
  5. Restart the server.

🔥 Mutator configuration:

  • Default (Ready to use. If you have special needs, please switch the options yourself.)
<pre>[/BotEquipmentAdjustments/Mutators/BotEquipAdjust.BotEquipAdjust_C] ;UseDevDeBug=False InsAddonItems=(0) SecAddonItems=(1) InsItemToClassKeyMap=((0, "class")) SecItemToClassKeyMap=((1, "class")) </pre>
<table class="table is-bordered is-hoverable"> <tbody> <tr> <td>Variables</td> <td>Default Value</td> <td>Minimum Value</td> <td>Maximum Value</td> <td>Description</td> </tr> <tr> <td>UseDevDeBug</td> <td>False</td> <td>-</td> <td>-</td> <td>

If enabled(True), the bot's PlayerClass, whether the KeyName matches, and whether the item was added successfully will be displayed in the chat box.

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>InsAddonItems</td> <td>1 Set Elements</td> <td>Empty Set Elements</td> <td>-</td> <td>

Add the items you want to include to the Set. Elements within the Set must be unique and cannot be duplicated.

Below is the current list of items in SummaryAddonItems:

<table> <tbody> <tr> <td>Index</td> <td>Item</td> </tr> <tr> <td>0</td> <td>INSGasMask</td> </tr> <tr> <td>1</td> <td>SECGasMask</td> </tr> <tr> <td>2</td> <td>INS_Civilian_NVG</td> </tr> <tr> <td>3</td> <td>INS_Military_NVG</td> </tr> <tr> <td>4</td> <td>SEC_MILSPEC_NVG</td> </tr> <tr> <td>5</td> <td>SEC_SOF_NVG</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td>SecAddonItems</td> <td>1 Set Elements</td> <td>Empty Set Elements</td> <td>-</td> <td>

Add the items you want to include to the Set. Elements within the Set must be unique and cannot be duplicated.

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>InsItemToClassKeyMap</td> <td>1 Map Elements</td> <td>Empty Map Elements</td> <td>-</td> <td>

This setting determines which Bot PlayerClass each item should be added to.

</td> </tr> <tr> <td>SecItemToClassKeyMap</td> <td>1 Map Elements</td> <td>Empty Map Elements</td> <td>-</td> <td>

This setting determines which Bot PlayerClass each item should be added to.

For example, to add SECGasMask to the Bot's current equipment slot, with class used as a keyword in the PlayerClass name:

SecAddonItems=(1)
SecItemToClassKeyMap=((1, "class"))

Explanation:
"class" is used because it is always included as a prefix in the PlayerClass name. This allows all Bots in the Security faction to equip SECGasMask.

</td> </tr> </tbody> </table>

⚠️ Known Issues:

  • Currently, there is no information available.

🔖 This module aims to provide a flexible way to dynamically adjust Bot equipment based on different combat situations.
