(ACI) Sentinel Battlecruiser (CC)

Ares Combat Industries is proud to present the newest addition to the ACI ship series - The Sentinel. ACI engineers had dreamt of a ship like this for many years and eventually, after many hours of hard work their dream finally came to fruition. Never has ACI created a ship with this much firepower and other offensive capabilities. Not only is the Sentinel able to tear right through hostile vessels with its barrage of Gatling gun fire, but it is also able to punch a hole through enemy ships with its forward-facing Mass Driver. Incoming missiles and fighters are taken out with the help of the Sentinel’s Point Defense System, consisting of nearly 50 turrets. Incoming fire can also be directed to the Sentinel’s decoy deployment system. If fighting were to continue planet side the Sentinel is capable of supporting ground units by dropping several bombs on hostile installations. The Sentinel is not capable of complete atmospheric flight and therefore can only drop the bombs from a rather high altitude. The battlecruiser carries a group of maximum 5 fighters, which can be sent out to do scouting missions or even intercept hostile craft.

The Engineers working on the Sentinel project let crew members have more say while designing the interior section of the ship. The results were that the Sentinel now features more luxurious crew quarters than previous ACI warships. Now featuring small lounges, sitting areas, a mess hall and an advanced medical facility. The placement of the crew quarters has been improved as well. Main crew quarters and high ranking quarters have been placed near the CIC, while the pilot’s crew quarters have been placed near the Hangar. The Sentinel and has been produced in the Titan Foundry, a new ACI shipyard capable of quickly producing larger ships. The Titan foundry is even able to build multiple warships at the same time. The exact location of the foundry is unknown to the general public due to security reasons.

Do not conduct any erratic movement while using either the Mass Driver, Heavy Bombardment System and Decoy Deployment System!

Be careful when launching fighters. The hanger can get very cramped and therefore, you should first fly downward before flying forward. Doing so makes sure that the engine burst does not burn away parts of a other strike craft.
