Akira Weather

This weather mod alters the weather in Space Engineers, naming it to Akira in the Admin (Weather) Menu. With this weather mod, it will create an intense darkness, attenuate the sun, and produce more visible light cones on engineers, bases and vehicles.

Along with this effect comes the loss of oxygen coupled with a freezing effect, this in turn creates a survival weather that can be extremely challenging.

Also creates a particle effect to give you a truly alien-type weather on compatible planets (any planet that supports a weather system). Perfect for survival horror scenarios, and for extra challenge try this on Pertam with spiders set to on.
