The Amphion "Scylla" takes advantage of the latest systems made available for small-scale mining craft. The Deca-drill system turns on and off automatically based on proximity to asteroids, and has a safety shut-off for when other engineers come too close to the drills. Due to the increased armor and other important systems, the Scylla is more expensive than the lighter and more portable Anemone mining craft. It is effectively the next step up from the light mining craft with its multiple redundancies and improved features.
Features include -Automated drill detection systems -Automated safety cutoffs -Dual oxygen generation systems for prolonged mining missions -Automated stone ejection (can be turned off in Control Panel) -Emergency backup battery -Dual connectors -Recessed thrusters to reduce potential damage and likelihood of incapacitation
