This mod adds airlock connectors in two sizes to the game. Airlock connectors can be used to create airtight connections between grids without using merge blocks. They can only be connected to other airlock connectors of the same type.
AQD - A Quantum of Depth is a project of mine, encompassing multiple small and larger mods aimed at improving the gameplay experience and eventually overhauling larger parts of the game:
Airlock connectors are available in two sizes: 3x3 and 1x1 (5x5 for small grid):
- Airlock Connector Flat
- Small Airlock Connector Flat
- Large Airlock Connector
The mod furthermore includes a new option in the airlock connector's terminals, that will offer alignment guidance to match the rotation of connectors to each other.
- I have no plans to add additional sizes or variants of airlock connectors in the future.
- The flat airlock connector only transmits power - it is not conveyored. The large connector is conveyored.
- Airtightness is somewhat janky - there's not much that can be done about it, unfortunately.
- BDCarrillo - For writing the script to restrict arbitrary connectors from connecting to these blocks, and to offer alignment guidance.
- Welch9o4 - For providing me with beautiful screenshots of the blocks in action for the workshop page.
