Armored Hangar Doors

Large blast doors are a key principle of sophisticated hangar design. Yet, at present, many vessels and stations will struggle to make use of the basic hangar doors. Have you built a large hangar, and need a large hangar door to go with it?

Introducing Armored Hangar Doors! With ten separate variants fully reinforced with heavy steel plating, Armored Hangar Doors can seal a passage as wide as 50 meters when placed end-to-end, and as long as you desire! Worried about pirates knocking down your doors, or perhaps entering combat in a carrier warship? Fret not, for Armored Hangar Doors stand true to their name, protecting you and all internal systems from the most extreme levels of firepower!

Features & Notes:

• Armored Hangar Doors is fully independent, relying on no scripts, 3rd-party mods, nor DLC.
• Unique SubtypeIDs provide near-immunity to mod conflicts!
• Full LOD models.
• Basic construction models (use vanilla models).
• Full block skin support!
• Want Armored Hangar Doors in your native language? Put together a localization file and send it to me on Discord! I give full credit for any and all contributions!
• These doors are airtight. Apparently, this is not obvious.

Future Plans:

• Greeble for hangar door bases. (Considered, not planned.)

Additional Notes:

• Armored Hangar Doors was loosely inspired by Large Armor Gates by MMaster. However, each model in Armored Hangar Doors was crafted independently, and no visual reference from Large Armor Gates was used.
